Friends,
We would like to take
this opportunity to thank all of you for contributing
and making our first Catalan- Brazilian Party at the
Roger Smith Hotel a huge success. We had a turn out
of more than 140 people!!!!
We would also like to
congratulate the two winners of the raffle for the two
airline tickets from New York to Málaga/Madrid.
Thanks to Air Plus Comet, which donated the tickets
and to all those that participated in the raffle, we
were able to donate a total of $203 dollars to the victims
of the terrorists attacks of 11-M in Madrid.
Let’s take a moment
to thank those that helped organize and make this party
such a success:
Carmen Castellanos and
family, for their help preparing the meal and also the
now famous "Pao de Queijo", Maria Angels Bonany
and Elisabeth Guarch, for their help serving the food
and drinks, Joaquín Haro and Cesco of Sao Paulo
for their help preparing and serving Caipirinhas, Geronima
Maura, Jordi Nolla, Oriol Soler and Brigitt for helping
with various tasks and working the door, "Mospa"
for his help as the official photographer of the party,
Marc Carreras for his help coordinating and promoting
the party, Jordi Pique for his brilliant help and presence
as President, Air Plus Comet and Gabriel Vidal for the
donation of the two tickets that were raffled and also
help collect the donation for the victims of 11-M and
last, but not least, we would like to thank the Roger
Smith Hotel, Jordi Castelló and the interns for
their help and their support with this party and all
of our events.
We are also very happy
to invite all of you back to our next event, Sant Jordi
Friday April 23rd !!! Soon we will send you further
details.
